Edward "Clueless" Calabrese

My initial, opening post when starting this blog was a criticism of Edward Calabrese.

Rather than providing evidence to contradict the LNT, he's whining again.

Let's dig in!

Clueless Calabrese says that a comprehensive reappraisal of LNT is urgently needed.

Why?

BEIR VII just did this in 2006.  The ICRP just did this in 2005.  UNSCEAR just did this last year!

He criticizes others for using hypothetical risks of Cs-137.

Edward, all risk estimates are hypothetical.

You are estimating something that hasn't played out yet.

All one can do is use the best existing data available, and hypothesize what will happen in the population currently under consideration.

And that is what the organizations I mentioned above have done.

Edward, get a clue.
